Finally..the dreaded exams is over..at least for now..never before in my life i have studied so hard. I haven't get a good night sleep since 4 weeks ago..

Immediately after exams end, i went to buy the Logitech Momo Steering Wheel..just for the heck of it..and as a reward for surviving the first sem examinations..LoLx..

27th October 2008 marked the 2556.75th days(or 7 years) with darling as one loving couple..

In the morning, went for Maths lecture(sad right? Public holiday, but lecture is still businees as usual).

Then met darling at 1400hrs. We walk around aimlessly in Marina Square and Suntec City, then stopped by at Bakerzine Millenia Walk for some cakes.



At about 1800hrs, we made our way to Singapore flyer for our 1900hrs 'flight'. 7pm should be the magic hour, where the sky is still bathed in a shade of dark blue, and the city lights has just lighted up. But unfortunately, on that day, the sky is not exactly what you call blue.





Nevertheless, first time on the Flyer means photo opportunity. For once in my life, i tried(unsuccessfully) to be a camera-whore. Guess i should just stick to being photographer =P.





After the 'flight', we hang around the area for more pictures, then proceed to Spizza @ Bt Timah Rd for dinner. It was a simple yet tasty meal. 1 Pizza, 1 Lasagna and 1 mushroom soup.

I just realised how beautiful music, as in those which i like(and are not limited to specific genres) can help one relax..especially when one's brain is going BOOM soon..


I know i'm slow(age is getting into me..arghhh)..but..i've figured out how to add music to my blog..

PS: Unless you have a really really slow internet connection..you should be able to hear the music just about now..

I have setup a control panel on the right bar for those people who don't want their boss catching them surfing net using office resources.. =P

Just came back from a photoshoot assignment of a Children's day RC event(Just in case you people are wondering, i'm doing freelance photography). Some pictures can be found at my photography site.

Also, i got my hands on some new toys for this event. Namely the Canon EF 24-70 f2.8 L and the Canon BG-E2 Vertical grip. Below are the 'family' picture, along with my trusty Canon EOS 20D, Canon Speedlite 430EX external flash and Canon EF 17-40 f4 L.







Anyway, Canon announced their new 5D mkII DSLR. It has everything one will expect from a professional DSLR, including full-frame shooting, but check this out, this new DSLR can shoot fullHD video at 30fps. YES. FULLHD, 1080p video. And life goes on..lab reports..tests..quiz..etc etc..

Haven't been getting enough sleep..

First, update on my ride.

Finally, my beloved ride is repaired! Collected 'her' on 25th Sept. Gawd, the workshop did a tremendous job. Here are the pictures taken..today..










Yup..a happy me have my ride back.. =D


Now to the 'boring' stuff..

1st day of school is Physics test. That is a *shake head* test. 1.5hrs is barely enough to finish the test. Left the last part of the last question unanswered.

On the bright side, all my core engineering modules do not have any mid-sem-test. So it's not that stressful...YET... x_x

Today, went to Chevrons to celebrate my ex-boss birthday together with all the staff from CCO PLC. It set me thinking..NS time, although boring and had to do all the duties and stuff..it's alot slacker than studying. Not that i really enjoyed my NS days, but i missed the carefree life then. No lab reports, no deadlines, no test/exams.

First things first: Updates on the outcome of my accident..

Went to my insurance's authorised workshop for reporting of the accident. Then coincidentally, the fella(who banged into me) sent an sms to me, asking me to claim his insurance. So, that saved me from ALOT of trouble. Next, i went down to a workshop recommended by a friend of mine. The workshop briefly described to me the scope of repairs:

1. Boot and bumper definitely need to change
2. Knocking to the frame of the boot
3. Spray painting to the newly replaced area

Also, he provided me with a replacement car..a Lancer GLX which duly arrived within 15 mins..wanted a manual car to drive, but they don't have..so guess it's too bad..

anyway, the GLX is not as fun to drive as my Civic..engine sounds alot rougher and handling is not as nimble as my Civic..GOSH..I MISS MY CIVIC!!!

Oh well, my ride will be ready by friday..hopefully..

Time to go back to mugging..jialat..I have no clue on what my Physics lecturer is teaching in class..
